ABOUT OUR WORK
SWIM Cambodia works with our local Cambodian partner organisation, called ‘HTK’.
We support HTK with training, capacity development and fundraising.
SWIM Cambodia was registered on 14th April 2015. Since then, we trained volunteers and NGO’s in the delivery of the following drowning prevention interventions:
- Drowning Awareness
- Water safety education
- Safer rescue skills
- Resuscitation skills (CPR)
Since January 2023, HTK have trained volunteers in the same lifesaving knowledge and skills.
From 2024 to 2025, SWIM Cambodia supported HTK with preparations for a drowning prevention programme working with UNICEF (Cambodia) and RNLI (UK). In September 2025 the programme was launched with teacher training and survival swimming training.
